The operation process of the advanced infant airway obstruction and CPR model is mainly used to train the standard skills of infant sudden airway obstruction and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. First of all, when an infant is found to have breathing difficulties or complete obstruction, their consciousness and crying should be immediately judged. If it is confirmed that they are unable to cry, have a silent cough or breathing has stopped, first aid operations should be carried out immediately.

For airway obstruction caused by a foreign body, the infant's head should be lowered below the body, and the head and neck should be supported. First, give five back slaps between the shoulder blades. If this is ineffective, turn the infant over and perform five chest compressions. The compression position should be below the line connecting the two nipples, with a depth of approximately one-third of the anteroposterial diameter of the thorax. Alternate between the two until the foreign object is expelled or the baby resumes breathing.

If an infant has already experienced cardiac and respiratory arrest, infant CPR should be performed immediately. After opening the airway, perform artificial respiration, blow air for one second each time, and observe the rise and fall of the thoracic cage. The position for external chest compression is still below the line connecting the two nipples. The two-finger compression method is used, with a frequency of 100 to 120 times per minute. The depth should be one-third of the anteroposterial diameter of the thorax. The ratio of compression to breathing for a single person is 30:2, and for a double person, it is 15:2.

The model is equipped with a real-time feedback system that can display the depth of compression, frequency and ventilation effect, helping trainees correct their movements in a timely manner and ensuring that the operation complies with clinical norms.
